I think the other reviewer was very unfair to this set. I'm not entirely sure what they were expecting but these are great quality and the set I received was both very soft and quite thick and plush. I purchased these to be our winter weight sheets and they are very warm. The texture is similar to a microfiber fleece blanket and is in no way rough. I think these were a great bargain and will last well. I've already washed several times and have had no trouble with them. The plum color is also gorgeous and matches my duvet wonderfully. The only downside to the set is that the flat sheet has only one side that is fleecy, the other is smooth. I just put the smooth side up so the plushy side is against my skin. Overall I'm more than satisfied with the set and highly recommend it for those who want a plushy winter sheet set and not pay a fortune for a thick flannel set.
