This is the best mattress topper I have ever slept on. I have a very cheap, hard, uncomfortable mattress which has so little padding that you can feel each individual spring. I used to wake up several times during the night and constantly suffered from back pain. With this mattress topper, I sleep through the night and wake up feeling great. I have used several "memory foam" mattress toppers in the past that sunk down to nothing and provided almost no cushioning. This topper is the perfect amount of fluffy cloud-like feeling and firmness. It did have a chemical (almost fish-like) smell to it when I first purchased it but the scent has dissipated for the most part. I have a mattress pad and fitted feet on top of it and it does not shift around on the mattress at all. I would recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade their bed and have a great night's sleep.
