I had a down comforter before and really liked it. I kind of thought that it might be adding to my allergies so I wanted an alternative down one. I sleep alone and get very cold in the winter so I need something warm, and with my flannel sheets, it is great! More than warm enough and I am sure it will be in the winter months too. It was fluffy like I wanted it to be. The shell makes a little crinkly noise but with a cover I am sure it will be fine. I was worried that it wouldn't feel like down like some of the other ones I have seen but this is very close. I am glad I went with this one, very pleased.
