I don't have the patience to suck and form my reeds anymore so I have chosen the synthetic route. No more warped wood. Straight to playing with no warm-up. They are just like the real thing to me. They are not cheap though. The thickness of these reeds seems less than the wood ones, so a 4 thickness feels or plays like a wood 2.5 thickness. They don't warp or need soaking or sucking so I really like them.
