7 Piece King Stripe 500TC Cotton Comforter Set Black Review

I have been looking for a new bedding set, and finally decided on this one.

The comforter and pillow shams are very soft and cozy. The comforter is a great weight. I would call it medium-warm. I'll use it year-round because my husband likes to keep the house cool all year; if you keep it warmer during the summer, this may be too heavy.

The comforter fits my king-size bed properly, and the pillow shams fit nicely.

I hate decorative pillows, so I'd rather see them dropped from the set and the price lowered a few bucks. I suppose I'll donate them, since I have no real use for them.

I do have one complaint. The photo clearly shows a damask stripe bedskirt. The bedskirt included in the set is plain white cotton. I mainly bought the set for the comforter, but I do wish it had come with the bedskirt as pictured.

Overall? I love the comforter and shams, and I'm satisfied with the purchase. I would have rated it 5 stars except for the white bedskirt.
