The product description stated it is bright. Quite the opposite is true. It has a gently worn look. I have this fabric in this exact design that lines an old Longaberger basket from years ago.

The quilt once washed is soft and comfy. If you like the lived in look because this is perfect because it gets a little more scrunchy after washing. I happen to like that look so win win! The little calico borders looked tan on my screen. It is actually a soft sage green or khaki. So back go the taupe sheets I bought to use with it.

FYI, the back of the quilt uses the same print as the calico border fabric.
