I purchased these pillows mainly for the coloring. I have yellow walls, chocolate colored furniture and curtains with a black and chocolate area rug so I thought these would be perfect to blend everything together. I was thrilled to see how well they stood out from the furniture and blended with the walls. I was more surprised by the quality of the pillow. They're very soft and cuddly and seem well made. I hadn't planned on using them for anything but decoration but I find I can't resist cuddling up with them if I lay on the sofa. I've had them about a month now and I think they're going to hold up just fine. As to the pattern on the individual pillows, they're all different so you don't really know what you're getting. I guess they just have a large piece of cloth and cut it to fit the pillows so you don't know which part of the cloth is going to make up your pillow. I bought four of them and one has quite a bit of black but the roses are cut in half, another only had a tiny bit of black up in one corner and had more leaves and two big roses... I actually like that each one is different, otherwise the four pillows would be monotonous. It provides variety. I'd certainly buy these again. I'm very happy with the purchase.
