This old style feather bed is so unique because not only does it feature 25% white goose down and 75% white goose feathers, but it is made using our finest German milled Egyptian cotton. This style of feather bed is not recommended for most consumers due to the upkeep required (daily fluffing as the filling moves around to conform to your body - so you will want to fluff and reposition the filling every day). We strongly suggest adding a mattress pad on top as well as a protector to reduce feather poking.

We paid careful attention to every detail and made sure that each feather bed has been tested to make sure the overstuffed filling surrounds your body as you lay in bed. The special 25/75 filling is much better in softness when compared to a traditional 5/95 blend. Furthermore this hypoallergenic filling has been processed in our Cincinnati facility to guarantee even the most sensitive sleeper.

The item was just as described and real nice quality. I was hoping it was thicker than 1" when laying on it. For the money I would now purchase something else though. Weird but, I have been having bad headaches since placing it on the bed. Not sure why.
