I took off a star simply because I need a little thicker pillow. Otherwise, this thing is perfect. The shape keeps it in place even though I am a restless sleeper. Mine didn't smell, and the little pillowcase/cover it came with is good at keeping fuzz & hair off of it, but has a weird edge, so I do use a normal case, too.
