I bought another one as soon as the first arrived and survived its initial washing. (Important for me because I have a dog who's only job in life if making and shedding fur!) It is thick and very warm. We always end up kicking it off our feet in the night because it really holds in the heat. It is plush and rich feeling and I can't get over how sturdy it has been. It is very generously sized and fits our overstuffed mattress and still hides the box spring on both sides. NICE! I am in love with this comforter and my only regret is that I did not buy more of the euro shams while they were still available! Wow, what a great comforter!
